The dynamic policy landscape with respect to COVID-19 has meant that organisations have to rapidly collaborate to make decisions, and then clearly communicate those decisions to diverse and at times large audiences. In conjunction with current COVID-19 offerings from Cisco, Peak Insight has been able to establish a rapid deployment, flexible meeting capability for clients to meet, make decisions and then communicate those decisions to wider stakeholders.
Utilising Cisco Webex, meetings can be hosted and joined simply from any device, with just one big green button to push to easily start the meeting.
Features we have seen utilised heavily in this scenario include enabling ‘mute on entry’ and disabling ‘entry and exit tone’ when there are a large number of attendees, as well as the ‘invite and remind’ option to quickly invite a large number of participants to join the meeting via email. Preventing participants from being able to see the list of other attendees is also useful where external stakeholders are participating by disabling the ‘participant list’ view privilege.
Feedback on quickly enabling this capability has been overwhelmingly positive. Even with only the large-scale audio conferencing feature used initially, the ability to have this rapidly available as an initial capability and then start enabling more advanced features is compelling in this scenario.
This capability can be established and guidance provided to a meeting host within one (1) hour.
