Peak Insight wins Cisco Bridging Collaboration Challenge

Presented Aged Care success story during COVID-19

Melbourne, Australia – 6 September 2020: Peak Insight, the specialised Cisco Collaboration, Contact Centre and Connectivity provider has been awarded the winner of the Cisco ‘Bridging Collaboration Challenge’ for the Australia and New Zealand region.

Out of more than thirty partner entries, Peak Insight was awarded the winner by a panel of Cisco judges after showcasing the innovation and business outcomes achieved with an Aged Care client that utilised Cisco Webex to support residents, families and staff during the ongoing pandemic.

The challenge required Cisco partners to submit a customer success story in a two-minute video presentation, with Peak Insight taking away a cash prize and commercial video production package.

Cisco conducted the competition to highlight innovation in the partner community and identify those at the forefront of working with Cisco to keep organisations productive, connected and secure during this challenging time.

The Peak Insight submission included challenges faced by the Aged Care sector such as lockdowns, a distributed workforce and the significant risk for aged residents. It outlined how positioning a unified Webex Teams client for secure cloud-based calling, messaging and meetings across the organisation quickly provided business continuity and improved security, employee and customer experience. In addition, the solution extended the return on investment of on-premise infrastructure by cloud-registering existing Cisco meeting rooms and Telstra SIP services.

Sam Deckert, Principal Consultant from Peak Insight commented “The Peak team is very proud of our work in Aged Care, and it is fantastic to be recognised by Cisco with this award. By design, our consulting-led approach meant that we spent a day onsite at a facility in late 2019, and also met with line of business stakeholders to fully understand the business. When the disruption caused by COVID-19 occurred in 2020, we were ready to assist with business-aligned solutions that included products from Cisco, Telstra and Peak Amplify.”

“Aged Care clients often have significant on-premise Cisco Collaboration investments that support critical healthcare functions. They can be complex, and challenging to maintain. Introducing the secure, Cisco Webex Teams client in conjunction with the cloud-based Webex Calling and Webex Meetings platform can enable powerful workflows for the business, while also simplifying IT operations. Our Bridging Collaboration Challenge submission is a great example of the possibilities.”
